Type of Enhancement

Web Interface/Frontend

Describe the Feature/Enhancement

Right now, there are a variety of filtering options accessible through the filter dropdown menu, such as tags, author, genre, narrator, series, and other settings.

Of these, Author, Narrator, and Series get special treatment, provided their own dedicated view in the left hand tab menu with specialized preview buttons.

My suggestion is that ABS support the Genre and Tags fields in a similar way, using the same "pile of books" generated preview image for each Genre or Tag that the Series view currently has.

This is similar to https://github.com/advplyr/audiobookshelf/issues/1241 but doesn't require custom filters, only supporting the Genre and Tag top level displays.

Why would this be helpful?

This is a minor enhancement. However, browsing "by genre" is a common user experience and providing it directly rather than from a harder-to-press dropdown would be neat.

I would also like this enhancement. Particularly when you have large libraries, browsing becomes a problem when your only in the mood for things of specific genre. Setting up as separate libraries would work but is cumbersome and is difficult for cross-genre items (which frankly most are these days anyway).
