What happened?

I had a tag filter enabled and the "Collapse Series" box checked. The tag filter was applied correctly but all titles in a series were still listed separately.

What did you expect to happen?

I expected series to be collapsed after filtering.

Steps to reproduce the issue

Prerequisites

  • Having a library that has multiple titles in the series

Steps

  1. Navigate to the "Library" view.
  2. Select the "Collapse Series" box.
  3. Add a filter (I tested both with a tag filter and a genre filter)

Notice that series are not collapsed.

Audiobookshelf version

v2.10.1

How are you running audiobookshelf?

Docker

What OS is your Audiobookshelf server hosted from?

Linux

If the issue is being seen in the UI, what browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Safari

Logs

No response

Additional Notes

I also tried this on Chrome and Firefox but got the same results.

I am experiencing this bug on v2.24.0 on Windows environment, using Firefox browser and Android app. I hope this is on the radar for a fix because it really diminishes the usefulness of my filtering for me.
