Describe the feature/enhancement

From my point of view the "explicit"-flag is not enough finely graduated.
I have audiobooks for children of age 6 or 8 or 10 ages and so on.
For the moment my workaround is to use special genre starting with "aa_FSK" FSK is the shortname for "Freiwillige Selbstkontrolle" equal to "age rating" which I find on mostly all Videos:

image.
Of course there must also be a change on Users or you enter the Birth-year which will "open" the next level of library items.

Instead of using a custom Genre, you can create custom Tags and then limit access to users by tags (inclusive or exclusive).

Tags are intentionally generic so that users can label/categorize their library however they want. Is there a reason you're not using tags for this?

In your other issue you also avoided using tags when it is the intended purpose of tags https://github.com/advplyr/audiobookshelf/issues/2482

Ok, I did not realize that this property/functionality can by used for this. So I will move my "FSK" from Gerne to "TAG".
and this for all my migrated 3000 audiobooks ... But this will be no problem i will recreate the OPF-Filesand rescan .
THANKS!!

I don't refuse to use tags at all. On the contrary I use genre and TAGS intensively:

My Main-Genre start with "a_" like "a_Thriller", "a_Biographie", "a_Crime" in total 51 Main-Genre. And then my Sub-Genre/Kategorie starting with "aa_"
