Describe the issue

Title is pretty self explanatory -- before the latest update, I used to keep my metadata in .abs files. It worked great and it all (mostly) scanned as it should. However, after migrating it to .json & desc.txt files, nothing is scanning properly and my library is a mess.

I've tried on a clean install as well, and nothing is showing as it should. I've checked the logs, and no errors show up either. I'd appreciate any help :)

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Scan Library
  2. Metadata should be displayed as indicated

Audiobookshelf version

v2.5.0

How are you running audiobookshelf?

Debian/PPA
