Describe the feature/enhancement

I'm trying to go through my library with 2200 discrete entries and it is difficult to get back to where I was working when the webpage refreshes. If we look at e.g., subsonic, there's an alphabetical title index without any images that is easy to navigate as well as a vertical alphabetical index on the right. It is very cumbersome to have to deal with cover images all the time and there is no option to display a text list of the entries. It's slow and takes a lot of resources.

Related issue. I would love to be able to see a list of Authors in the Authors menu. It would be very helpful to also sort and multi-select (for deletion) Authors with 0 books. I recently had to clean up my ABS library and had to manually remove many entires one by one.

Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
