Describe the issue

I have an old android 9 phone that I use for music/books. It's able to stream from the server but doesn't want to download anything. Newer phones work fine so I think it's something that changed how downloads work on Android.

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Use older Samsung Android phone.
