[Enhancement]: Option to change the appearance from the "dark" scheme to a "light scheme" - the darl scheme is too dark for night time viewing. Great App - perfect in almost every way.

I suggested the dark/light enhancement about 8 months ago - it's still a needed feature for folks with not-so-good eyesight. I noted that the current IOS version of the ap has a dark/light switch - how about it. Thanks

Going to resurrect this for e-reader displays for using the web instead of the app.

There's some features missing or not fully implemented on the mobile app that I want to use the web ui for, but the web version is nigh unusable from an e-reader display.

There is a dark/light theme in the Android app, but it should be automatic following system settings...

More than 2.5 years since my original suggestion for an enhancement for a dark/light switch for the web version of Audiobookshelf, running on a browser on an IMAC, have seen a few responses (but no changes) and never for the Web version. Is there any chance of seeing this as an accepted enhancement??

The web client is currently being rewritten, and part of this will include easier changing/customizing of colors. It may still be several months before it is ready.

Hello, I sometimes also read ebooks directly from the app on my laptop or mobile devices, and it would be really nice to have a fourth option named "Custom" next to Dark, Sepia and Light, which lets you choose a background and a text colour for a better comfort (depending on each personal preferences). Hope this makes sense, thank you!
