Quite simply a gain that can be added to any single audiobook of poor quality and low volume. I've grown accustomed to it through Smart Audiobook Player, and it's a clever thing to have. Niche, perhaps, but for those of us that has a rather large library with titles that are hard to come by today, it is a very nice feature to have.
