I cannot select chapters on a specific audio book (German: Der Name des Windes) - part 1 from Kingkiller Chronicles, Author Patrick Rothfuss (original: The name of the wind).

QUESTION: I think the problem may be only reproducible with the exact file, but due to copyright I cannot upload it here. I try to reproduce the problem with an open source audio book, but if this is not possible, how could I share this file non public?

Steps to reproduce

  1. Download audio book
  2. Play audiobook
  3. goto player
  4. Select a chapter in the middle of the book (e.g. Number 89)

Expected behaviour

Player jumps to position where the selected chapter starts

Actual behaviour

Player jumps to a position near the end - nowhere near the actual chapter position

Environment data

Audiobookshelf Version: Current

  • Android App?

Android version: 12

Device model:
Unihertz Jelly 2e

After being connected at home via Wifi the issue is completely gone - the book is no longer stored locally and I had to download it again... very strange. But since there is no reproducible issue any more, I'll close this for further investigation - I don't want to waste your time.
