Steps to reproduce

  1. Connect phone to car and launch Android Auto
  2. While on the ABS app in android auto, press the AV on/off button (pressing in the volume dial in my kia soul 2018)

Expected behaviour

  • The Play/Pause button on screen should change from the Pause symbol to the Play symbol when pausing via the AV on/off button in the car.

Actual behaviour

  • The Play/Pause button stays on the Pause symbol when paused via the AV on/off button (but still actually pauses)

Environment data

Audiobookshelf Version:

  • Android App?
  • iOS App?

Android Issue

Android version: 13

Device model: Samsung Galaxy 20+

Stock or customized system: Stock

I gave the github a good search but could not find a similar issue already created. If you need me to test anything let me know!
