Silent Failure to Stream / Download if lacking iOS Local Network Permission #303

Steps to reproduce

  1. Settings > Audiobookshelf > Local Network > Set permission to Off
  2. Connect to a server that is hosted locally - 192.* etc.
  3. Click on any book and try to stream. Alternatively, try to download it.

Expected behaviour

  • System should discover that there is no Local Network access, and ask for access again or popup a dialog sending the user to the iOS Setting page

Actual behaviour

  • Silent failure - the button changes color but there is no clear reason as to why nothing is happening

Environment data

Audiobookshelf Version:

  • Android App?
  • [X ] iOS App?
