The following Issue seems to be related to #290 which seems to have been fixed but either was reintroduced or happens again because I get the problem for a couple of weeks now consistently.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open the Android Client
  2. select locally stored Audiobook
  3. continue playing
  4. set a timer to end-of-chapter
  5. wait for the chapter to finish
  6. repeat from 1st step

Expected behaviour

The Playback should continue where it left off the last time it played

Actual behaviour

The Chapter restarts that you already listened to

Environment data

Audiobookshelf Version: v2.1.5

Android Issue

Android version: Android 13

Device model: Google Pixel 4 XL

Stock or customized system: Stock

App Version: 0.9.57-beta

@Fribb commented on GitHub (Sep 30, 2022):

This is weird, I have now tried to investigate this a bit further but after listening to a chapter from the "Continue Listening" section (so the "online" location) and then subsequent chapters from the "Local books" section, this behaviour is not happening anymore.

Therefore I will close this Issue.
