I have verified that the bug is not already awaiting release

Yes

What was the Problem?

I am experiencing a persistent issue where playback progress for Podcast libraries does not sync correctly to the server when playing via Bluetooth. This issue does not occur with Audiobook libraries.

Steps to Reproduce the Issue

Play a Podcast from an Audiobookshelf library via Bluetooth in a car.
Even after finishing the episode, the server-side progress remains far behind (e.g., shows less than 50% progress).
If I open the Audiobookshelf app on my phone immediately after disconnecting, the app shows that it has lost the network connection to the server.
Once the app stays open for a while, it reconnects, syncs, and eventually updates the progress on the server.

What was Expected?

The app should maintain a stable background connection or periodically sync playback progress to the server in real-time, even when the screen is off or the device is connected via Bluetooth, regardless of the media type.

Phone Model

RENMI K80 Ultra

Phone OS

Android 16

Audiobookshelf App Version

Android App - 0.11.0

Installation Source

Google Play Store

Additional Notes

I have already configured the app's battery settings to "Don't optimize" and disabled all background process/memory clearing restrictions, but the issue persists.
The issue is specific to "Podcast" type libraries; "Audiobook" type libraries sync perfectly as expected and allow me to resume playback immediately.
