Not sure if this is the same as https://github.com/advplyr/audiobookshelf-app/issues/1431 or not, I couldn't totally understand what was being requested there.

Basically I would like the ability to download a specific file from an audiobook that has multiple files.

Why would this be helpful?

It would really help on devices with low storage. Also, I often buy from audiobook companies that release a book in parts and I like to listen to them as they come out. Adding a new part to Audiobookshelf works fine but to download it I have to first remove the local files and redownload the entire book. In that case it would be nice if I could remove the already listened to files/chapters and download the next ones.

if it's helpful, Lissen has something similar but it's only chapter based. The app is great, but I prefer the official app.
