Why would this be helpful?

To permit other preferences/cleaner initial look upon opening

Future Implementation (Screenshot)

No visual change needed, just a Settings Option to permit Library as the initial tab upon Library opening - TY

+1 this is very much needed feature. many people prefer consistent screens vs always changing latest, newest and so on
