The last twice I have started playing on a morning, the speed has dropped to 0.5x - i normally listen at 3x and was playing this speed the night before
Steps to Reproduce the Issue
1 Play at higher speed
2 Close the app fully
3 Open app after some time
4 Play audio
Speed has dropped to 0.5x
What was Expected?
Speed to be as it was in previous session

How often has this happened? It sounds like it has happened multiple times based on how you wrote it, but not sure if it's only happened once or relatively frequently.

The last two mornings, not sure if there has been a recent change that has affected this as i have the app on auto update so unsure when the last one was. I will monitor and report more instances

Im going to say close this, perhaps it was a connectivity problem if it checks the speed from server or something, but this has not happened since.
