I have verified that the bug is not already awaiting release

Yes

What was the Problem?

The app is crashing about 2 seconds after it connects to the server. I'm not sure but I think it started when I updated the server to 2.25.1.

Steps to Reproduce the Issue

  1. Open the app
  2. Connect to server if not already connected

What was Expected?

No crashing

Phone Model

Galaxy S23

Phone OS

Android 15, One UI 7

Audiobookshelf App Version

Android App - 0.9.81

Installation Source

Google Play Store

Additional Notes

I was able to open the logs menu before it crashed, but there weren't any errors.

I switched to connecting to the server with a custom subdomain using reverse proxy, and it's working. With the IP address 192.168.x.x it's still crashing immediately.

Did you have downloaded books on the other server connection?

I'm not sure about books, but I did have a lot of podcasts downloaded to the device. But after I switched to the custom domain connection, I deleted all the downloaded podcasts, and the crash was still happening.

I just switched back to the 192.168.x.x connection to try and check if I still had any audiobooks downloaded, but the crashing prevented me from switching to the audiobooks library, or from switching back to the other server connection. So I re-installed the app, and now the 192.168.x.x connection is working fine.
