It would be nice to see 2 new enhancements:

  1. Chapter ticks in the overall time view
  2. Progress in the individual chapter view

Why would this be helpful?

I can't tell how close I am to the end of a chapter. Currently I have to check the time, then go to the chapter view and see the time this one ends. This is cognitive overhead that could be eased with better progress indicators.

There is a Chapter Track option that will show you the remaning time of an chapter

Maybe this heps in the meantime

Thanks. Looks like that's only available on iOS, not Android.

Do you mean not on iOS, but on Android? As far as I know, Android has all the features (while iOS is missing some), and I tested it on my Android device before posting the comment to make sure I remembered correctly.

It's under the player options (player three dots) and not general

Yes Android does have a checkbox for "Chapter Track". I like that you can also still show the whole book track "Total Track".

On the Web UI you can only choose to see one at a time, but the Total Track on the Web GUI shows the ticks exactly like you are explaining.
