I have verified that the bug is not already awaiting release

Yes

What was the Problem?

The playback panel / player at the bottom of the screen can not be closed. It can be dragged up to full-screen, but not closed. On the web it has a closing x in the upper right corner to close it, but the app is missing that option.

If you open the player to full screen there is a context menu with a close option. Unless I'm misunderstanding your issue

I think it's just because you are in landscape mode, you need to open the full screen player in the app.

Ooh. Thanks. That helps, but wasn't obvious at all.

In landscape mode, that option isn't showing up unless one scrolls down and knows that there are more options to scroll down to. A visible scrollbar would help there to indicate the overflowing/additional options.

Yeah, landscape support is not very good. There is plenty of space in portrait mode, which is part of why there is no scroll bar.

Makes sense for portrait where it's not overflowing.

I'm aware the app is still in beta /early preview, but working well as such. Just adding some suggestions to help improve it :-)

I'm fairly sure there is a feature request open for showing a scroll bar in the modal

I updated #1168 title to be for all modals and removed it from backlog. I agree it should be updated in some way so it is visible to see that it is scrollable
