Describe the Feature/Enhancement

Be able to sort authors into alphabetical order.

Why would this be helpful?

When I tap on the authors tab, it gives me a list of authors in order of first to last as they were imported. There doesn't seem to be an option to sort into alphabetical order, which would make searching for the author easier.

Future Implementation (Screenshot)

Could be implemented in the same way books can be arranged in alphabetical order.

Audiobookshelf App Version

Android App - 0.9.79

Current Implementation (Screenshot)

The authors screen.

You do know you can just use the search button and type in the author name, right?

Yup. But what if you just want to browse authors in alphabetical order? Hey, not having a go. I absolutely love this app - the whole thing is brilliant and is something I've wanted for a while. Just thought it'd be a nice enhancement is all. Besides, the web interface of the PC allows you to do this, so it'd kinda be nice to have it in the app too.

I get your point. My point is just that mobile apps are suppose to be more simplistic than the websites they "connect" too. Otherwise people could just use the mobile browser to view the website. 😄

But yeah, if you can sort other stuff in the app, it's weird you can't do it on the authors page.
