When listening to audiobooks, the player will randomly stop playing. I have verified the app it set to never sleep on Android, I have cleared the cache, and I have uninstalled and reinstalled.
I am currently running 0.9.77 because the issue does not happen with that version.

What file format? Is this with downloaded or streamed books? When playback stops, does the ABS app start from the main home screen, or is it still in the player?

.mp3, .m4b typically.
It actually depends. When it stops it will be on the last screen the app was on. I updated back in January through the play store and that's when I began to notice issues. So I found the apk for 0.9.77 and reinstalled that after doing the usual troubleshooting, then issues went away.

Can also confirm this bug. I get the red error bar that says there was a source issue. It happens over both local WLAN and tailscale. It is not related to background battery permission.
