Describe the Feature/Enhancement
when i'm on the same network as my server it switches to Direct even if it has been downloaded, i would like the option to always prefer local
Why would this be helpful?
my NAS is on the older side so it takes a while to wake up, and my audiobook cuts out as a result, i also don't see much of a point to it waking up at all, the server is run by a separate SBC
Future Implementation (Screenshot)
in the settings menu i would like a "Always prefer local" switch or a priority list i could adjust
Audiobookshelf App Version
Android App - 0.9.79
Current Implementation (Screenshot)
none, it just does this switching regardless of my wishes

The app should always prefer the local file. Are you using the same server connection profile that the media was downloaded with?

yeah, i open it up, for a while it goes local and plays just fine, then it switches to direct and then stops because the NAS is slow to start
