It can't be enabled on google pixel either because the app doesn't send notifications. Is there something not working with the app that you were expecting to work?

Lost functionality. Ever since I updated to oneui (android 15), I can't pause from the lock screen. I assumed notification related.
And half the time can't pause from the notification pull down.
So to pause or play I have to open the app

I don't know why that happens or what to update but when searching around I did see a whole lot of people complaining about changes made in One UI 7

Ah okay that is reported here https://github.com/advplyr/audiobookshelf-app/issues/1571
