What was the Problem?

Hello everyone,

I use the AudioBookShelf Android app with the Sleep Timer active throughout the day. I set the Sleep Timer when taking a nap, getting distracted, or simply when I remove my headphones—so that playback stops automatically.

When I manually stop playback while the Sleep Timer is active, the shake-based reactivation remains enabled. This means that even after a manual stop, playback resumes automatically if movement is detected, which is not the desired behavior.

Please implement a distinction so that the shake-based reactivation only takes effect when the Sleep Timer naturally counts down and resets due to movement. When playback is manually stopped during the Sleep Timer period, this feature should be disabled to prevent unintended resumption.

Thank you for your continuous efforts and regular updates!

Best regards
