What was the Problem?

Love audiobookshelf! Love the app. Thanks for all your work on this project.

Recently the Android app on my phone started displaying "Invalid Cover" on all items in my library. The covers are there, and everything looks just fine when I access my server through a web browser. I've made no recent changes to settings (and in fact have barely done anything other than happily listen to podcasts since I set it up!)

Other than the missing covers, all other metadata appears to be present and everything is working just fine!

Steps to Reproduce the Issue

  1. Open the app.
  2. See that no cover images are present on any items.

What was Expected?

Cover images display properly as before.

Additional Notes

Have tried the usual things, server side refresh of data. App side refresh of data. Deleting data+cash in the app and reloading. Uninstalling the app and re-installing.

Weirdly when I uninstall the app, it seems to remember my user information and settings when I reinstall even after deleting all the data settings beforehand.

I assume you have an outdated server version:

From the Discord:
App version 0.9.78 (released a few days ago) requires at least 2.17.0 for images to load.

Best is also to see the release page for app updates. They often state breaking changes

@advplyr Maybe we could add a server version question to the issue template
