What was the Problem?

If I download a podcast locally and disconnect from server, the podcast starts in the middle.

Steps to Reproduce the Issue

  1. Download a podcast that has not been listened to yet.
  2. Disconnect from server
  3. Go to podcast. The progress will now show it's been partially played and will start the podcast in the middle of the episode.

What was Expected?

I expected the progress to be 0 and to start at the beginning of the episode.

Phone Model

Motorola Ace

Phone OS

Android 11

Audiobookshelf App Version

Android App - 0.9.76

Installation Source

Google Play Store

Additional Notes

No response

@mobergmann commented on GitHub (Oct 19, 2024):

I am experiencing the same issue. My setup is the same, except my Phone Model, which is a Fairphone 4 and my Phone OS, which is Android 13.
It doesn't happen all the time, just a few times and I cannot reproduce it reliably/I cannot make out what is triggering this behavior. Disconnecting didn't do the trick for me, but maybe I'm not doing it right.
