What happened?

I use the Audiobookshelf android app and when i come back home after listining on the go my android app forgets all i have listent to while away and syncs to the previous point the server knows instead of the other way around.

What did you expect to happen?

I would expect it to sync the server with the android app to pick up where i left of while away from home.

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. start a book at home, disconnect from network and move the play time forward, then reconnect to network and watch it sync to the previous time from the server.

Audiobookshelf version

v2.13.4

How are you running audiobookshelf?

What OS is your Audiobookshelf server hosted from?

I have the same issue. I will often times switch between my phone and my desktop while listening to an audiobook. I find that when I listen to it on the web through a browser and leave the app running on my phone in the background, the next time I open the app it picks up from the same spot I was when I stopped listening to it on my phone. The only way around this that I have found is to fully close out of the Android app before I actually open it, forcing it to resync with the server when opened. It also is an issue when you download an audiobook and play it offline sometimes.
