Hey. Why is the field for "description" of recurring transactions, installments and transfers not optional, as it is for regular transactions? For me as a user there is no need for the description to be mandatory.

For installments and recurring transactions, description and notes are used to properly list them at the pages inside the Transactions menu, so you know what each one is at a glance, and can manage them.
For transfers I do agree that it shouldn't be obligatory.

Next update will add options to not add description and notes to Installments and Recurring Transactions generated transactions. Description will still be required, but treat it as an item name for archival purposes. Hopefully that's a good middle ground to stay at.
Also, transfers will no longer require a description.

Oh you're right. I didn't realize that the description field also doubles as the "name" in the transaction menu!

Blocking a user prevents them from interacting with repositories, such as opening or commenting on pull requests or issues. Learn more about blocking a user.
