Not sure where to ask, but any chance to include a section for mortgage tracking?

Thanks @eitchtee , hardly an expert myself !

Mortgage is tricky to track since it is both a recurring expense and an "asset/investment".

I guess that as starter I would track the remaining payment of the mortgage, the interest paid to the bank and the equity put into the house itself. But I would also love to hear from people who are more familiar with tracking mortgage payments.

Eventually, maybe to put the current market value of the house, to see if the value is increasing or not, and the ability to adjust the interest rate itself (in case of variable or renegotiated with the bank) . And also track of down payments.

So, I did some research. A mortgage is a loan with your house, either the one you're buying or one you already own, as collateral, right?

Maybe this could be part of #45

Do you use anything right now to track your mortgage? A spreadsheet, app, etc.

Thanks @eitchtee , basically the bank app is what I use to track it. Yes, indeed the mortgage is essentially a loan. Probably makes sense as part of #45
