Would there be a possibility to set the default setting of “Order By” in the monthly view also in the settings ? That way this does not have to be adjusted all the time. Or save the setting as a cookie ?

The selected order will be stored alongside your current session, which means it is tied to your current login, like a cookie.
This will be included on the next update whenever it comes out.
