Luckily, i drowned my battery now to under 30 percent and had Aldente set to 60% and now my Mac loads to 58 percent and stops there. Very nice, but sounds a bit different than in the description, so try out a bit.
So works fine on MB 13 from 2017 when you drown Battery a lot and then set the maximum.
