Under sailing mode the battery charges well beyond the set threshold
Steps,

  1. Battery is low around 10%
  2. Sailing mode is enabled with 10% sail and battery threshold is set to 55%.

  3. Connect the MacBook M1 to charger and allow it to charge.

Expected behavior: Charging should stop at 55%
Actual behavior: Battery charged to 61%

Hi @satish040,

What did you do while charging? Did you use the MacBook all the time or did it go into sleep, did you turn it off or close the lid?

Cheers,
Matthias

It went to sleep. I connected it to charger and closed the lid.

Thanks,
Satish.

Unfortunately, AlDente's options of controlling your MacBook charging behavior while it is in sleep or powered off are highly limited. However, AlDente Pro has an option in Charge Settings called "Stop charging when sleeping" which will stop charging shortly before it goes into sleep.

Cheers,
Matthias
